The new Thorsman perimeter trunking DFK-130 is easy to install and upgrade in the future all aimed at giving you the best overall economic performance. With five profiles for the top cover, the shape can be varied. The profiles can be painted in any chosen colour, anodised or coated with veneer or foil. The flat profiles can also be faced with stone or solid wood. Tailor-made and cut to length The trunking can be supplied tailor-made with the contour profiles cut to length and marked with room details. There is no need for the installer to cut the trunking, so installation is quicker. The trunking is also stocked in standard form by leading electrical wholesalers for quick delivery. The installation front is (F80™), the same front as on our other trunking, poles, boxes. This gives access to the entire spectrum of socket outlets and connections of type CAN and CYB . The base has pre-punched holes in the upper partition. The holes are spaced so that the boxes always come under a hole. Separated power wiring, shielding of electric fields The low-current wiring runs in an easily accessible compartment separated from the power wiring. Optic fibre cables are run in special channel. The design is building-site friendly. This means that installation can be done at an early stage. When the building is complete, the contour profile is fitted. This prevents damage while building work is going on. The trunking is easy to earth in order to shield the electric fields. When a length of earthed DFK-130 trunking fitted with CAN socket outlets and fitted with a front cover was tested in a specially built cage, a reading of 0.2 V/m was obtained 30 cm from the trunking, which corresponds to the background level.
