CYB is a socket outlet and connection system for electric power, telecoms and data. The range is suitable for all service carriers (trunking, poles, boxes and panels) with F80™ front opening.
Each product consists of few parts and is quick to install. For example, no box is needed for the telecom and data outlets. In addition, the range has no frame. This gives a smoother surface which is easier to clean.
The data network connections in CYB can also be mounted directly on a wall with a raising frame. The covers are square, so that they can be mounted both vertically and horizontally. Some covers have an integral dust shutter.
Complete connection kits are available for LexCom Cat 5E and 6, AMP and Avaya, among others. The CYB range also includes other outlets for communication, e.g. fibre connectors, PSTN sockets and covers for aerial sockets.
The power socket outlets can be supplied individually, even where two boxes are tight up against each other. Three-phase looping-through is also possible with a terminal block.
The fixed strain relief clamps can take cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm2. There is a label window for marking fittings and socket outlets.
CYB power socket outlets are also available in distinctive colours, for sockets supplied with uninterruptible power, for instance. Certain socket outlets, switches and fittings are also available in metallic grey. This gives ample scope for aesthetic colour combinations of service content and service carriers.
The plastic is halogen-free.
Among other things the range includes a heat sensor which cuts off the power on overheating and DIN enclosures for mounting DIN products in FrontLine service carriers.
CYB-PS quick-connect socket outlets
A completely new way of installing power socket outlets in our service carriers is the CYB-PS quick-connect socket outlet, which halves the installation time compared with conventional CYB outlets.
The quick-connect socket outlets consist of a three-gang master socket outlet which can be extended with any number of two-gang slave socket outlets. The socket outlets are installed entirely without tools. Wiring-up and strain relief are done on the master socket outlet, which then snap-fits into the opening in the front of the trunking. Once the master socket outlet is in place, the slave outlets simply plug in to it.
